Hampshire Parent Carer Network (HPCN) is a participation forum. It is not a support and information agency. If you need help with a question related to your individual child or young person, we are happy to signpost you to Parent Voice and the Hampshire Local Offer.
HPCN does offer a range of Learn Together events targeted at increasing our members’ knowledge and emotional resilience in order that they can better participate and advocate for children and young people with additional needs (including their own child). For details forthcoming of HPCN talks and events click HERE.
Monthly regional HPCN Get Together meetings take place across Hampshire and often include guest speakers and workshops from topics as diverse as challenging behaviour to nurturing yourself. Discover a Get Together near you. Click HERE.
Our free education strand, Talk Together, goes into schools to help foster positive participatory relationships between parent carers and the school team. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like your school to get involved.
Other Support Groups
We know that there are lots of friendly, hard-working groups offering support to parent carers in Hampshire. HPCN can add value to any support group by coming along and talking about participation and consultation. Get in touch at email@example.com if you want to discover more about how we can work together to make a difference for all our members.
