Special Event on Transistion to Adulthood 16 October 2018

Submitted on 01 October 2018 by Charlotte Vaughan

Hampshire Parent Carer Network's special event on the Transition to Adulthood

Hampshire Parent Carer Network (HPCN) will be hosting a panel of transition experts (for children aged from 12 years old, moving into teenage years and then adulthood) from the fields of Education, Adult Services (Health) and Social Services. There will be presentations as well as a chance for you to ask questions. If your child is aged 12+ and has additional needs of any kind, diagnosed or not, we would urge you to come. We will even lay on a light lunch for everyone!

Alongside this special event, there will also be HPCN's AGM.

To attend, you must be a member of HPCN (if you are not already, it's easy and free to do, just visit our website and click on 'Join us'). All members then need to book their place via Eventbrite (that's free too - whoever said there's no such thing as a free lunch?!). All we ask is that you only book a place for yourself (any partners or friends need to book their own place. Multiple bookings made under the same name will not be honoured) and should you decide you cannot attend, please cancel your place - we are a charity and need to pre-order the food so we hope to only order what is needed.

HPCN exists for its members and their views and to stay in touch with members' views, we invite you to events like this. Please do come and join us and find out what we have achieved this past year and what we hope to cover over the coming twelve months.
